CONSIGNMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- Savvy Consignment accepts women’s clothing, sizes 0-14, and children’s clothing, NB – Tween
- Savvy Consignment will charge a onetime consignor fee of $5.00
- Consignments are accepted Monday-Friday. No Hangers. No appointments. Special appointments can be made upon request.
- All items must be current styles and ready for resale:
- Freshly laundered, or dry-cleaned
- Free of holes, stains, odors, wrinkles, etc.
- Seasonal clothing will be accepted as follows:
- Spring/Summer Clothing – accepted January-July
- Fall/Winter Clothing – accepted August-December
- Savvy Consignment management reserves the right to refuse any items of clothing not deemed suitable for resale.
- All merchandise is sold on a 60/40 basis – 60% to the merchant, 40% to consignor, we will honor 50% if you would like to shop against your account only and not have the option for a payout. We do have a buyer’s fee.
- All pricing will be established by Savvy Consignment; mgmt reserves the right to hold special sales.
- All items will be kept 60 days from the date of this consignment contract. After 60 days, if an item has not sold, it will be donated to charity. Any item may be reclaimed within 2 week of the 60 day deadline.
- It is your responsibility to track item expiration dates and to pick up any items that you want to retrieve.
- Payment to the consignor will be made in person at Savvy Consignment at anytime and we pay out in cash unless other arrangements have been made.
- You may call to check on the status of your account; to get the status you will need to know your account number.
- Savvy Consignment will strive to take care of all articles on consignment. Please note that Savvy Consignment will not be responsible for damage to items by customers, fire, smoke, water, theft or any other casualty or loss. We will take every precaution to prevent such damage or loss.
